Dr. Pai has been in the Mishawaka / South Bend community since 1979 where he joined Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, then known as Saint Joseph Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. He started in Anesthesia Department and pioneered interventional Pain Management program at the hospital along with Dr. Edwards.
After advancement in pain medicine, he introduced fluoroscopy guided spine injections and was instrumental in developing intrathecal morphine and baclofen pump management program at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center with the help from a local neurosurgeon.
In the year 2000, Dr. Pai started his own office, Pain Management Group, equipped with a fluoroscopy suite in South Bend which was one of a kind and much liked by patients due to convenience and also was cost effective compared to hospital setting.
To better serve the communities of South Bend, Mishawaka and Elkhart, our main office is centrally located at 3212 Hickory Road - between McKinley Avenue (Old US 20 Hwy) and Edison Road.
Today, Dr. Pai continues to excel in cutting edge of interventional pain field such as implants of spinal cord stimulators and radiofrequency lesioning. He is an active member of professional organizations to promote quality, cost effective and efficient service for various pain conditions for our patients.
Again, our Motto is -
Educate and help people who are suffering from pain.
Deliver quality, cost effective and efficient care.
Our staff strives to be friendly, compassionate and sympathetic to our patients in pain. We believe our patients and our professional colleagues are our best advocates of our service.
